ARC Raiders Player Count and Steam Charts: How to Read the Numbers

The official ARC Raiders concurrent-player figure from Steam, why the third-party trackers disagree with each other, and what no source publishes.

Applies to: ARC Raiders concurrent-player figures and Steam review totals, checked on October 15, 2026, with each figure kept to its own source and timestamp

Quick answer

The only first-party live figure available is Steam's own current-player number, which read 56,945 on October 15, 2026 and changes every time the page is loaded; Steam does not publish a console total. Steam's review summary on the same date showed 425,672 reviews at roughly 81.7% positive, a "Very Positive" rating that also moves. Third-party trackers show all-time Steam peaks that disagree with each other and are not published by Embark Studios or Steam, so this page reports the disagreement rather than picking one of them.

At a glance

The only live player figure that comes from a first party is Steam's own current-player number, because Steam publishes it directly. On October 15, 2026 it read 56,945, and it changes every time the page loads. Steam does not publish a PlayStation or Xbox total, and Embark Studios has not published a current combined figure. The all-time "peak" numbers you see on tracker sites disagree with one another and none of them is published by Steam or Embark, so this page reports that disagreement instead of picking a number to repeat.

The official live figure

Steam exposes a current-player count per app, and Steam's own community page for ARC Raiders draws on it. At the time of this check the number was 56,945. Treat that as a snapshot: it is a moment, not an average, and it swings through the day and with a new patch. The figure counts Steam players only — it excludes PlayStation, Xbox, the Epic Games Store and GeForce NOW, so it is a floor for the game as a whole rather than a total.

Steam review totals

Steam also publishes a review summary. On October 15, 2026 that summary listed 425,672 reviews, about 81.7% of them positive, carrying the store's "Very Positive" label. As with the player count this is a running total that moves as more people review the game, and it covers Steam purchases only.

Why the trackers disagree

Several third-party sites republish Steam player data and each keeps its own history. On the same day, those sites showed different all-time Steam peaks for ARC Raiders, ranging by tens of thousands, because they started recording at different times and fill different gaps. None of those peaks is published by Valve or by Embark Studios, and a peak that one site recorded from a later start date cannot be compared with another site's older record. This page therefore does not adopt any single "record". If you need an all-time peak, read it as a third-party claim with a stated start date, not as an official figure.

Two sites copying each other are not two sources. A number that appears on several tracker pages often traces back to one original record. Repetition is not confirmation, which is why the peak figures here are left unnamed rather than averaged.

Is ARC Raiders dying

Search interest is the one trend indicator that can be checked directly. Google Trends relative interest for "ARC Raiders" worldwide sat low through July and August 2026, rose through late September, and then jumped sharply around the Frozen Trail 2.0 update on October 8 — the sort of step that a content update, not a decline, produces. That is a measure of how many people searched for the game, not how many are playing it, and the two are not the same thing. For actual concurrent numbers, use the live Steam figure above rather than a search curve.

Where to check it yourself

  • Steam's own page. The community hub for the app shows a live player count straight from Steam — first-party, and the number this page reports.
  • The Steam store page. The review summary at the top is Steam's own and updates continuously.
  • Embark Studios' channels. For milestone or sales statements, the developer's own posts are the only first-party source; third-party "sales estimates" are estimates.

What is not published

  • A combined cross-platform player total. No official current figure covers PC and consoles together.
  • An official all-time concurrent peak. Steam and Embark have not published one; the trackers' figures conflict.
  • A live console player count. Neither Sony nor Microsoft publishes per-game concurrent figures for this title.

Because those three are missing, any page that shows a single confident "total players" number for ARC Raiders is guessing or repeating a third-party estimate. This page stops at what is published.

Sources and review scope

Checked on October 15, 2026. The concurrent-player count and the review total are timestamped snapshots and will have changed by the time you read this; both are given with the date they were read rather than as a fixed value. Third-party tracker peaks are described as conflicting and are deliberately not quoted as a figure. Nothing here is a developer statement except where an Embark Studios source is linked directly.

How this guide was checked

Checked on October 15, 2026 against the Steam store listing and the Steam Web API app-details, current-players, review-summary and news endpoints for ARC Raiders, and Embark Studios' own posts on arcraiders.com. Live figures such as the concurrent-player count and the review total are timestamped snapshots that keep moving and are labelled as such. Game-internal details that Embark Studios has not published come from the community-run ARC Raiders Wiki and are labelled third-party, not official. Player-tested values are marked as such. Anything neither source states is written as unconfirmed rather than guessed.

Not independently play-tested. This is not a claim that every platform or game version was tested. Source review: Oct 15, 2026.
