Which crocodile is included

The checked 136-species launch roster includes the saltwater crocodile as a base-game habitat animal. Pages about original Planet Zoo packs can surface beside sequel results, so confirm the page says Planet Zoo 2 before using its values.

Habitat requirements

For one animal, the current entry lists 155 m² land, 75 m² water and 30 m² deep water. Add 15 m² land, 25 m² water and 7.5 m² deep water for each additional animal. Use a grade-3 barrier, hold 18–33°C and keep the group between one and seven with one adult male.

Colour and breeding

Check the live Zoopedia entry for colour variants and breeding details. Habitat capacity does not guarantee compatibility: expand usable areas as the group grows and use the welfare panel after juveniles mature.

The checked entry also specifies 18–33°C, a grade-3 barrier and a group of one to seven with one adult male.

A safer habitat layout

Give keepers a clear land-side entry, preserve an uninterrupted bank between land and water, and leave more capacity than the starting minimum if breeding is enabled. Viewing glass can serve guests, but it should not remove the animal's usable shoreline.

Escape and space troubleshooting

When escape risk appears, check barrier grade, climb-proof status, terrain near the boundary and any scenery that creates a route over it. When deep water is low, simplify the underwater shape and inspect usable depth rather than adding shallow surface area.

Mixed habitats need separate evidence

Do not place another species with the crocodile merely because both share a biome tag. Confirm the game's compatibility information and give both species their own required land, water and social space.
