Star Wars: Galactic Racer PC requirements and Steam Deck performance
Read the official minimum and recommended PC specs and the developer’s Steam Deck performance statement.

Quick answer
The Steam minimum lists 12 GB RAM, an RTX 2060-class GPU and 50 GB of SSD space. The developer says a consistent 30 fps is achievable on Steam Deck with optimal settings, rather than promising a fixed rate on every setup.

Official PC requirements
| Component | Minimum | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| CPU | Intel Core i5-8400 / AMD Ryzen 5 2600 | Intel Core i7-10700 / AMD Ryzen 7 3700X |
| Memory | 12 GB RAM | 16 GB RAM |
| Graphics | GeForce RTX 2060 / Intel Arc A580 / Radeon RX 5600 XT 6 GB | GeForce RTX 3060 Ti / Intel Arc B580 / Radeon RX 6700 XT |
| Storage | 50 GB available; SSD required | 50 GB available; SSD required |
The Steam page lists Windows 10 under minimum requirements. Its recommended column does not separately state an OS, so use the current store page for the complete supported setup rather than assuming an unlisted operating system works.
What does the developer say about Steam Deck?
In its FAQ, the developer says a consistent 30 fps is achievable with optimal settings. That is a target under suitable settings, not a guarantee for every scene, graphics preset or future game version. The FAQ does not identify a complete preset or say that Valve has assigned a particular verification badge.
Checks before troubleshooting
Compare all major components, not just the GPU name. Leave room on an SSD for the game and updates. For a Steam Deck issue, review the developer’s current known-issues post: it separately documents an Epic Online Services overlay problem that can make the game appear to hang and describes how to return to the game.
