Dimraeth materials: current gathering and crafting scope

Know what is safe to infer about materials and why exact resource locations need live, version-specific confirmation.

Applies to: Current Early Access crafting and building systems

Quick answer

Materials feed the current crafting and Stronghold systems, but the official sources reviewed do not provide a complete live table of nodes, drops or respawns. Check the current game for resource requirements and treat older location lists as historical until verified.

What is confirmed about materials

Official sources establish that resources feed equipment crafting, potion brewing, cooking and Stronghold development. Farms provide crops, quarries provide raw materials, and facility investment can expand farming plots and crafting services.

Verify material locations in the current build

  1. Start from a current recipe, upgrade requirement or quest objective.
  2. Record the exact material name and required quantity.
  3. Confirm the region and source in the installed version.
  4. Distinguish a world node, enemy drop, crop, quarry output and shop source.
  5. Test the route or respawn claim before turning it into a farming guide.

The current confirmed world includes the starter route from The Lost Caverns through Earlwood to Wildwood, plus the Goblin Caves announced for Early Access. A region name alone does not prove a particular node, drop table or fastest route.

Why old routes are risky

The retired community wiki can provide research leads, but its demo-era resource names and routes are not automatically current. Wildwood was expanded for Early Access and other systems changed, so even a recognizable landmark may no longer support the same farming instruction.

Material-specific pages should be added only when the item’s use, source and route can all be checked. Until then, use the recipe guide and region index as verified starting points.
