Quick answer

There are ten achievements and exactly one is hidden: "That was rude", unlocked by punching Kristopher in the tutorial — 17.1% of players have it. The most completed is "This is WARDOGS" for finishing the tutorial at 80.6%, and the rarest is "Big Spender", spend $100,000 on a single loadout, sitting at 0.0%. The store states every player starts with $10,000, so that achievement asks for ten times the starting balance in one loadout; the developer has never commented on it and this page does not guess a method. Across all 81 Steam announcements the word "achievement" never appears, so the short list is the current state rather than a page limit.

At a glance

WARDOGS has ten achievements, and exactly one of them is hidden. That is the whole answer to the search question that brings most people here, and it is worth saying before anything else: there is no cache of secret achievements to find, because the developer never made one.

The rates above are Steam's global percentages: the share of everyone who owns the game, not the share of people currently playing. That distinction matters more than it looks, and it is covered below.

The one hidden achievement

Its name is That was rude. Its official description, which Steam stores but does not display until you unlock it, reads: "Punch Kristopher in the Tutorial." 17.1% of players have it — which makes it the fourth most common achievement in the game, despite being the only one you cannot read in advance.

Two things follow. First, you do not need to look anything up: the requirement is in the tutorial, and the tutorial is the first thing the game puts you in. Second, the reason people cannot find it is a Steam mechanic rather than a WARDOGS one — hidden achievements show as a locked entry with their text masked to every player who has not earned them, including you. That is platform behaviour, not a puzzle.

Worth knowing about the tutorial itself: it doubles as the game's only real tutorialisation, so the two tutorial achievements are also the two hardest to miss. 80.6% of owners have finished it.

What this page will not give you. It does not tell you where to stand, which weapon to hold or how many matches each one takes. Nobody on this site has played WARDOGS — every page here is built from what the developer published and what Steam's public endpoints return. A step-by-step unlock guide would be invention dressed as experience.

The 0.0% achievement

Big Spender asks you to spend $100,000 in one loadout. The store description states the baseline you are working from: "Every player starts their journey with $10,000." The requirement is therefore ten times the starting balance, spent in a single visit to the equipment vendor — not accumulated, not net, one loadout.

Steam reports it at 0.0%, which means fewer than roughly one in two thousand owners. The developer has never said anything about it. Three explanations fit the number, and this page does not pick one for you:

  • A ceiling that the loadout system enforces. The vendor screen tracks carry weight and shows slot categories — primary, sidearm, special item — which is exactly the kind of structure that caps what a single loadout can cost. If the cap sits below $100,000, the achievement is unreachable by construction.
  • A threshold that is reachable but absurd. Buying the most expensive option in every slot, if the slots allow it, may clear $100,000 only with the priciest gear unlocked across several role tracks.
  • An achievement written before the economy was balanced. Early Access achievement lists are often authored against a design that later moved.

The honest reading is the boring one: an achievement at 0.0% five weeks after launch, on a game that sold three million copies, is more likely broken than exclusive. Note that this is a judgement from the distribution, not a statement from the developer.

What a completion rate actually measures

Steam's global percentage is owners who unlocked it divided by everyone who owns the game — including people who bought it during launch week and never installed it, and people who played the tutorial and stopped. That is why no achievement in any game ever sits at 100%, and why the top of this list stops at 80.6% rather than somewhere near the top of the scale.

For WARDOGS the cap matters in a specific way. The game sold three million copies by September 26, 2026, and the tutorial achievement sits at 80.6%. Whatever the exact overlap, a meaningful slice of buyers never finished the opening. Read the lower half of the table as "share of the entire buyer base" rather than "share of active players" and the numbers make more sense.

It also means these percentages are not a difficulty ranking. "CZ Survivor" at 8.2% requires 60 minutes inside the Control Zone without dying — one life, one hour, in a match where the zone is the place everyone is shooting at. "Clean Sweep" at 7.8% requires your team to win without conceding a single point. Both are hard for completely different reasons, and the two numbers are within half a point of each other.

Why there are only ten

Ten is a small list for a 100-player shooter five weeks into Early Access, and there is no sign of a second batch. Across all 81 Steam announcements reviewed for this site, the word "achievement" does not appear once — no achievement update, no plan for one, no comment on the current list. That absence is the finding, not a gap in the search: the developer has said nothing about achievements at all.

The list is also front-loaded toward the first hour. Two of the ten are earned in the tutorial, and the tutorial completion rate is eight times the rate of the rarest earnable one. Nothing in the official material suggests the system is being expanded, and this page will be revisited if that changes.

Where to see your own progress

Steam shows the list in the client: your library, the game's page, then the achievements section — locked hidden entries appear there masked, and unlocking one reveals its name and description permanently. The global percentages on this page come from Steam's public achievement endpoint for app 1867240, which returns the identifier and the percentage but not the display text; the names and descriptions above were read from the achievement schema that Steam's community page serves for the same app.

No in-game achievement menu is documented anywhere official, so this page does not describe one.

Sources and review scope

The chart at the top of this page is drawn by Game Guide Port from Steam's published percentages. It is not official artwork, and it is labelled as such.

How this guide was checked

Checked on October 19, 2026 against the Steam store listing and the Steam Web API for app 1867240, the developer's own Steam announcements including the Season 2 patch notes dated October 14, 2026, the current-player and achievement endpoints, the public review endpoint, and the four policy pages published on wardogs.com. Figures are quoted from those sources rather than paraphrased, and each one carries the date it was read. Where a detail comes from a press report, a third-party site or a player post rather than from BULKHEAD or Team17, it is labelled as exactly that. Anything the developer has not stated is written as unconfirmed rather than guessed.
