Choose the version that exists now

• PC buyer: use the Steam listing for the current Windows requirements, price, languages, and store package.
• PlayStation buyer: use the PS5 listing. Do not assume a PS4 purchase or PS4 version exists.
• Xbox buyer: wait for a dated Xbox store listing or Keen announcement before planning a purchase.
• Mixed-platform group: check the separate crossplay and cross-save status before choosing where everyone buys.

What each current listing confirms

Steam describes a Windows game with single-player and online co-op for up to 16 players. Its current requirements call for Windows 10, 16 GB RAM, 60 GB of free storage, and a minimum GPU with 6 GB VRAM in the listed GTX 1060 / RX 580 class; the recommended tier names an RTX 2070 Super or RX 6700 XT and recommends an SSD.

The PlayStation Store describes a PS5 game with one-player offline play, optional online play for up to 8 players, and PS Plus required for online multiplayer. It also labels the release PS5 Pro Enhanced. These store fields are version-specific; the PC player limit and server tool do not automatically apply to PS5.

Spring 2027 is a target, not a release date

In the discussion attached to Keen’s official 1.0 date announcement, an account marked as an Enshrouded developer said the team was still working on the Xbox version and was “aiming for Spring 2027.” Until an official Xbox store page or dated announcement appears, treat that as a planning target that may move—not a guaranteed day, supported console generation, price, or preorder promise.
