Quick answer

At Early Access launch, Mudtek listed Brawler, Mage and Shadow as the playable classes. The Steam description also refers to six classes as the game’s broader scope, so do not read that larger number as a current character-selection count.

The current class roster

Mudtek’s Early Access launch announcement lists three playable classes: Brawler, Mage and Shadow. The official website describes Brawler as a close-combat specialist and Magician as an elemental combat class; use current in-game information for the full live ability list.

ClassConfirmed identityEvidence limit
BrawlerA close-combat specialist using weapon strikes, grappling, agile movement and sustained melee pressure.Exact skills and balance need current version data.
MageThe official site calls its presentation “Magician” and describes elemental magic combined with weapon strikes.Spell lists and damage values need current version data.
ShadowA confirmed current class introduced for Early Access.Mudtek has not published an equally detailed current public class profile.

Why the store also says six classes

The store description describes a larger six-class target. That is not a current selection list. A guide should distinguish playable Early Access choices from future scope instead of calling a planned class unavailable content.

Choose a first class without a made-up tier list

Start with the combat style you want to learn, then pair it with a current race. We do not assign a “best” class without current version-specific testing and evidence.

Class choice is only one part of a character. Steam describes each race-and-class pairing as an Archetype with its own skill tree and playstyle, while crafted spellbooks can add universal magic when attribute requirements are met. That makes a simple one-dimensional ranking unreliable.

For a first character, compare the class presentation in the live creation screen, the race you want to combine with it, and whether you prefer close combat, elemental tools or the current Shadow kit. Then check recent patch notes before committing to a detailed build copied from an older version.
