The official demo covers the opening through the end of Chapter 1. Square Enix estimates approximately 3–5 hours for that demo segment and says its save can carry over to the full game.

Chapter index status

A trustworthy chapter index requires checking the release build from beginning to end. For each chapter it should identify the starting point, objectives, area transitions, optional content, missable items, boss encounters, and exit condition. Those details remain unverified here.

Square Enix Japan announced a Japanese official guidebook for October 22, 2026 that is described as including route charts, maps, Vision development, party suggestions, boss strategies, and enemy data. Its release announcement is not itself a substitute for an independently verified game route.

What a verified route will include

• Ordered area directions with the exact in-game objective wording.
• Optional branches and a clear point of no return, if one exists.
• Chest and collectible locations checked before leaving each area.
• Boss weaknesses and phase notes verified in the game.
• Difficulty and version information for any strategy that depends on settings or updates.
