WARDOGS Price and Editions: Standard, Supporter Edition and What Each Contains
The two packages on Steam, what the Supporter Pack adds, what the game does not sell, and the developer statement about monetisation during Early Access.
Applies to: WARDOGS pricing and edition contents as listed on the Steam store on October 19, 2026, with the developer's own statements about monetisation kept separate
Quick answer
Steam lists two packages. WARDOGS on its own is $39.99. The WARDOGS Supporter Edition is $49.99 and bundles the game with the Supporter Pack, which is $12.99 when bought alone — so the bundle saves $2.99 against buying both. There is no third edition, no pre-order bonus and no season pass on the store page. BULKHEAD stated in August 2026 that the game would not be monetised at any point during Early Access, and the Gold Market inside the game is bought with cash earned by playing rather than with real money. Prices shown here are the US dollar figures and were read on October 19, 2026; regional pricing differs.

At a glance
The Steam store carries two packages and no third one. There is no season pass, no pre-order window still open, and no in-game currency you can buy with real money.
| Package | Price | Contents |
|---|---|---|
| WARDOGS | $39.99 | Base game |
| WARDOGS Supporter Edition | $49.99 | Base game + Supporter Pack |
| WARDOGS Supporter Pack (separate) | $12.99 | Cosmetic DLC only, requires the base game |
The bundle arithmetic is worth doing rather than assuming. Buying the game at $39.99 and the Supporter Pack at $12.99 separately comes to $52.98, so the Supporter Edition saves $2.99 — which is exactly what Steam's own bundle listing shows as the individual total. If you do not want the cosmetics, the $39.99 package is the whole game; nothing is gated behind the more expensive one.
The two packages
The distinction between them is entirely cosmetic, and the developer says so directly: the Supporter Edition "offers additional cosmetic content to the base game for players who want to help support BULKHEAD and the future development of WARDOGS".
Steam classifies the Supporter Pack as DLC rather than a separate game, released on September 10, 2026 alongside the base game. That matters for one practical reason: the pack requires the base game to run, so it cannot be used as a cheap entry point.
What the Supporter Pack contains
The developer listed the contents when the edition was announced on August 11, 2026, and the list is short and cosmetic throughout:
| Item | Type |
|---|---|
| 3 'Starter Weapon' Camos | Weapon cosmetic |
| Valkyra Branded A-91 Rifle Camo | Weapon cosmetic |
| Lonestar Branded Bushmaster Camo | Weapon cosmetic |
| Manticore Branded KH-2002 Camo | Weapon cosmetic |
| Littlebird Helicopter 'Taxi' Camo | Vehicle cosmetic |
| Supporter Icon on scoreboard | Profile badge — can be hidden in settings |
| Grenade Bobblehead | Accessory cosmetic |
| Helmet Bobblehead | Accessory cosmetic |
Three of those camos are faction-branded, one for each team. None of them changes damage, recoil, armour, cash earned or XP. If you were hoping the Supporter Edition includes a weapon or a vehicle, it does not, and no official statement suggests it ever will.
What the game does not sell
This is where WARDOGS differs from most shooters in its price bracket, and the developer put its position in writing before launch. Three commitments were published on August 11, 2026:
2. "We will NEVER monetize in-game cash or gold bars, they must be earned through play."
3. "We will NEVER allow you to directly purchase camos, camos should show that a player has worked hard to unlock that item not how much money they have."
The same announcement qualified the first commitment with a single exception: "There will be no monetization on WARDOGS during Early Access with the sole exception of this optional supporter edition." So the Supporter Pack is not a loophole in the promise — it is the one thing the promise carved out.
An earlier statement from the Top Questions announcement in February 2026 is blunter still: "No Battlepass. No Pay to Win. No Nikki Minaj Skins. No Bullshit. Earn cosmetics by playing."
What that means in practice, in the store's own terms:
- No battle pass. There is no seasonal pass on the store page, and none has been announced since.
- No real-money currency. Cash and Gold Bars are earned by playing. The Gold Market converts earned cash into cosmetics — it does not accept a card.
- No direct camo purchases. Camos are unlocked through the Gold Market and progression tracks.
Regional pricing and where to buy
Steam is the only official storefront for the PC version. There is no console version to buy yet — the developer states consoles are coming in 2028 — so there is no second marketplace to compare against.
Two things this page deliberately does not do:
- No key-reseller links. Grey-market key sites price WARDOGS well below list, and some of the traffic around this game is people looking for exactly that. Buying from an unauthorised reseller carries risks — revoked keys, region locks and no support from the developer — that are not worth the saving on a $39.99 game. This page links to Steam only.
- No currency conversion. Steam sets regional prices itself, and converting the dollar figure produces a number you cannot actually pay.
Refunds go through Steam's standard policy, which is measured in playtime rather than purchase date. The developer has actively pointed players at it: "we encourage you to try out the game and refund if the game doesn't live up to your expectations."
One pricing question has no published answer. The developer's August DEVLOG refers to a "stair stepped pricing" strategy for Early Access, and the phrase appears in the official announcement text as a topic the video covers. No announcement states when a step would occur or by how much the price would rise, and the game has been at $39.99 since launch. Treat a future price increase as something the developer has discussed in general terms rather than as a scheduled event with a date attached.
Sources and review scope

- BULKHEAD — "PRE-ORDER NOW!", August 11, 2026 — source for the Supporter Edition contents list, the three monetisation commitments quoted above, the "sole exception" qualification, the stair-stepped pricing reference and the refund encouragement.
- BULKHEAD — WARDOGS Top Questions, February 18, 2026 — source for the "No Battlepass. No Pay to Win" statement and the Gold Market's role as an earned-currency sink.

No price on this page comes from a reseller, a press article or a discount aggregator. The bundle saving is arithmetic on Steam's own two package prices, not a marketing figure. Where the developer has discussed something without committing to specifics — stair-stepped pricing — it is described as a discussion rather than a schedule.
Checked on October 19, 2026 against the Steam store listing and the Steam Web API for app 1867240, the developer's own Steam announcements including the Season 2 patch notes dated October 14, 2026, the current-player and achievement endpoints, the public review endpoint, and the four policy pages published on wardogs.com. Figures are quoted from those sources rather than paraphrased, and each one carries the date it was read. Where a detail comes from a press report, a third-party site or a player post rather than from BULKHEAD or Team17, it is labelled as exactly that. Anything the developer has not stated is written as unconfirmed rather than guessed.
Not independently play-tested. This is not a claim that every platform or game version was tested. Source review: Oct 19, 2026.
