Quick answer
The current Steam listing requires a 64-bit Windows PC, DirectX 12, an SSD with 115 GB available, and a hardware ray-tracing-capable GPU. Minimum memory is 12 GB; recommended memory is 16 GB.

The following requirements are from the current Steam listing, checked October 12, 2026. Xbox Wire also published a launch specification chart. Match your actual hardware model, not just its brand or generation.

The GPU names above are listing examples, not an exhaustive compatibility test. The minimum explicitly requires a GPU capable of hardware ray tracing. Steam may show an age gate before you can view the live requirements.
Why do storage numbers differ across articles?
Some earlier previews quoted 130 GB; the Steam listing checked October 12 gives 115 GB of available SSD space for both tiers. Download size, installed game size and required free space are different measures, and another storefront may package the game differently. Use your current storefront figure and leave extra room for updates rather than choosing a drive with exactly 115 GB free.
Does meeting minimum guarantee smooth play?
No. Published minimum and recommended tiers describe hardware targets, but actual results depend on resolution, selected graphics settings, drivers, game build and the rest of your system. We have not benchmarked E-Day ourselves. If you are already seeing stutter or crashes, use the PC troubleshooting checklist before following unofficial settings presets.
