Dimraeth demo status: what old demo guides still mean
Confirm that the public demo has ended and learn how to read old recipes, spell lists and walkthroughs without treating them as current EA facts.
Applies to: Public Steam demo · ended July 2026
Quick answer
The public Steam demo ended on July 15, 2026, before Early Access. Older guides can still help identify systems or names, but their recipes, balance, roster and map details are not automatically current.

The public demo has ended
Mudtek’s Steam announcement marked July 15, 2026 as the demo’s closing day. Early Access followed later, so a public-demo guide is historical material rather than an installation guide for the current game.
| Date | Status |
|---|---|
| Before July 15, 2026 | Public demo and earlier playtest material may describe a smaller map, roster and system set. |
| July 15, 2026 | Mudtek closed the public demo. |
| September 15, 2026 | The separate Steam Early Access product launched. |
How to read old demo guides
Old pages can still help identify a spell, a recipe name or a system that existed before launch. They cannot prove that its current effect, material cost, availability or balance is unchanged. Read the version label before following any table.
Use demo information as a research lead only. Verify names in the current interface, compare numbers with a dated patch, and confirm that a location still exists in the expanded Early Access map. This is especially important for recipes, spell effects, equipment sets and resource routes.
Find current information
For a current feature, use the Steam store page and recent official announcements first. This site labels demo references as historical and does not present old values as current Early Access data.
There is currently no official route to reinstall the old public demo. A developer response said rebuilding a demo after launch had been discussed, but it was not a confirmed release. Avoid unofficial downloads presented as the former Steam demo.
